Two of our pupils turned up in the Irish Independent on Daffodil Day as communities throughout the country came together while staying apart to support the Irish Cancer Society on its most important fundraising day of the year.

Our neighbours – The Irish Cancer Society – will celebrate their annual fundraising event, Daffodil Day, today!
To support them we are wearing yellow!
With a suggested donation amount of €2 to wear your yellow.
All monies raised will go straight across the road!

Third class performed their ‘Sound Collector‘ poetry in Herbert Park. They also completed an exciting Maths investigation using measuring tapes. For St. Patrick’s day they learnt some fun Irish songs and even made up their own verses. Finally, they got competitive in PE with wheelbarrow races.
Well done to the winners of the competition!
