Here’s a beautiful thought to warm you on this bright Autumn morning 🍁.
3rd Class – The Best part of me
3rd class shared their thoughts on what the “best part of me” is. Nishka said
❤️”The best part of me is my heart. My heart gave me this chance to see the world and more. Without my heart I couldn’t do anything but be a ghost. I love my heart.” ❤️
🎃🧡 Wishing you all a safe & happy Hallowe’en evening from everyone in John Scottus N.S. 🎃🧡
1st class have been experimenting with pastels to make these scary silhouettes!
Wishing you all a chilling and restful mid term break
Senior Infants have been hard at work in their Aistear class making these spooky Hallowe’en decorations!
🌿 ➕ ➗ Our awesome 3rd class undertook some Maths problem solving where they had to crack the magic number as a pod . All the numbers had to add to the same number vertically / horizontally/ diagonally. They used resources from nature to display it. Great work team 🌿➕➗
There was great excitement in Junior Infants when they went for a visit to the secret garden last week!
Last week the school was invited to create posters to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi. On a special Friday afternoon Assembly the posters were shared along with an address from the Indian Ambassador to all the children in John Scottus National School. Thank you to the Sanskrit team for facilitating and organising it all.
Our wonderful Senior Infants captured some of the beauty of Autumn with their art and craft creations. Well done!
Eva May in 4th Class created a lovely poem about Colours.
